We lived in Grand Junction on the western slope for another short term work project. We spent a lot of time tent camping during these years. as well as experiencing living on a small plot of land where we had rabbits and a goat. As well as a lot of wild critters including peacocks that had escaped a ranch and continued to breed. A snake was it took for our city asses to move back to the condo. We didnt mind them while we were camping, but didnt want them as a daily part of life! None the less, we had quite a few adventures that didnt get photographed. Carrying a heavy camera, cost of film and processing were all more of a consideration at a time before digital cameras existed. One day I might write about some of those adventures to add here.
